Solar System Name: Elair

Planet Name: Lu Zula

Species Name: Luzulian

Valara was born in 6973HL in the Elair System on the planet Lu Zula. Valara’s story began in the dense rainforests and murky swamps of Lu Zula in the Elair System, a planet renowned for its thick jungles, vast swamplands, and captivating skyscrapers that rise above the boggy landscape. Her home planet is a bustling hub of intergalactic trade, fueled by unique agricultural practices that produce exotic spices and elixirs sold across the Federation Spaceway. The Luzulians, her species, are deeply spiritual, worshiping a deity known as the Bogbound, who is believed to dwell within the swamps. Valara grew up as a youngling in a culture of gladiatorial pits, known as Skirmish Circles, hosted fierce hand to hand combat tournaments that drew competitors and spectators alike to honor the Bogbound.

Born to Mato and Bathisa, esteemed gladiators with countless victories in the Skirmish Circles. Her parents instilled in her a rigorous training regimen from a young age, emphasizing a fierce fighting spirit. They taught her that true strength was a blend of physical power and various fighting styles. Meanwhile, her grandparents, Fenria and Dentano, enriched her upbringing with the wisdom of Lu Zula’s politics, history, and spirituality. Fenria, a master strategist, and Dentano, a respected historian of the Bogbound, taught Valara that understanding the world around her was as vital as mastering combat.

Under the guidance of her family, Valara grew into a formidable figure, merging her parents' brutal combat style with her grandparents' strategic insights. Her skill and intelligence earned her the title of the "Luzulian Leviathan," and her fame spread swiftly across Lu Zula. Rival gladiators sought to test their might against her, hoping to either win her hand in marriage or prove their worth against the legendary warrior, while arena owners fought for her attention. Yet, Valara remained fiercely independent, loyal to the values of strength and wisdom imparted by her family.

Driven by a love of combat and a deeply competitive nature, Valara quickly became the fiercest warrior of her generation. Her disciplined fighting style made her nearly unbeatable, and she soon attracted the attention of the “Reborn King” Daxen Baytorrow, founder of the Proving Grounds Tournament, a newly revealed event that gathered the Federation Spaceway's finest fighters. With her family's blessing, Valara left Lu Zula to compete. She was unstoppable, dominating her opponents with a blend of brute strength, agility, and tactical brilliance, though she narrowly missed victory in the final round. Recognizing her potential, Daxen Baytorrow invited her to join the Galacticana, where she would compete full time and become a contender for the Infinity Championship.

Aboard the Galacticana, Valara's reputation grew as she formed heated rivalries with fighters like Kesaik Trilo, Arwyn Moonbolt, and Ezend Ozzy, while also forging alliances with figures such as Phaeton Bheldunt III and her eventual husband, Yundi Mo Mara. Over her career, she won the Proving Grounds tournament twice, each time falling just short of defeating Daxen Baytorrow at the One Above All event, and held the Infinity Championship title for nine seasons, the longest reign in Galacticana history. Her dominance was unparalleled, but her journey was not without hardship.

Valara began to show symptoms of a rare genetic condition known as "Dry Vein," which gradually drained her of the strength and muscle mass that had defined her entire life. Her once powerful frame grew frail as her skin became cracked and leathery, yet she faced this transformation with dignity. After retiring from competition, Valara retreated from public life as Dry Vein fully set in, making her nearly unrecognizable from her former self.

Now, Valara has returned to the Galacticana in a new role: mentor and leader of a fresh team of fighters, the “Wavewraith” Neva Basuko, the “Iris of Othyrious” Jayla Frenzy, and “Shatterjaw Serra” Gato, known collectively as The Valaraguard. This will be The Valaraguard's debut season on the Galacticana, and with Valara's wisdom and guidance, they are poised to make a lasting impact on the competition.
