Xander Shaw was born on cycle 2749CS in the Femeref System on the planet Goll. Goll is a planet renowned for its breathtaking natural beauty and unique ecosystems, which are carefully maintained by its native inhabitants, the Kath. These towering trees and their organically grown cities define Goll's landscapes, reflecting the planet's deep-rooted connection to nature. The Kath have a symbiotic relationship with their planet and see themselves as its guardians. Their society is a blend of spirituality, ecology, and high technology, governed by a deep reverence for life . As the Kath's technology evolved, they extended their influence beyond Goll not to conquer, but to cultivate. Wherever they encountered barren or dying planets, they planted genetically engineered soil to create new, vibrant biomes. Through these life-bringing projects, the Kath dedicated their lives to spreading life across the Federation Spaceway, transforming desolate planets into verdant, living worlds.

Growing up amidst this legacy of renewal and resilience, Xander Shaw was filled with insatiable curiosity, exploring every nook and cranny of Neverclove Forest, the capital city on the beautiful, forested planet, From a young age, he demonstrated unlimited energy and positivity, radiating confidence in every situation. His enthusiasm for life and dedication to his martial arts training were unmatched, and he tackled every obstacle with a smile. His optimism was contagious, motivating those around him to push beyond their limits and embrace their own potential. Xander's fascination with martial arts led him to seek out local masters, quickly becoming a regular visitor at the nearby dojos and monasteries. Each lesson added another layer to his skills, as he absorbed the wisdom of the teachers and honed his body through rigorous training sessions. His rapid progress earned him the respect of his peers and admiration from his mentors, setting him on a path to excellence. Whether he was sparring, training, or telling a joke, Xander approached everything with over-the-top enthusiasm that often seemed comedic.

However, it was a family vacation that would change the trajectory of Xander's life forever. Aboard the Galacticana, he marveled at the competitors who captivated audiences with their fierce matches and incredible athleticism. Each match sparked a fire within him, igniting dreams of one day competing on the grand stage. Upon returning to Goll, Xander became relentless in his training, pushing himself beyond limits he never knew existed. He entered every Youngling Division Martial Arts Tournament available, facing opponents from all over the region. As his fame grew, so did the interest in his talent. Invitations to fighting competitions flooded in, and he eagerly participated, each competition providing a new opportunity to learn and grow. Often boasting about his prowess, he playfully referred to himself as the "Grinning Guardian."

One fateful day, as Xander trained in the heart of Neverclove Forest, he received an unexpected visit. The legendary “Joybot Juggernaut” Zimon Curtix, stood before him with an offer that would fulfill his wildest dreams. Ming-Tino's Munchees Corporation had formed a new team, the Mighty D'Lights, to compete aboard the prestigious Galacticana. Led by Zimon Curtix himself, the team was tasked with spreading the values of courage, compassion, and laughter throughout the Federation Spaceway while representing the corporation's brand. Zimon offered Xander the chance to join the team and compete alongside him and the mighty Zappa, the “Strongarmed Grappa.” This was the opportunity Xander had dreamed of, the chance to leave Goll behind and compete aboard the Galacticana. He accepted with the understanding that this opportunity was not just a means to fulfill his aspirations but also a chance to make a difference.

Under Zimon's guidance, they faced challenges and with every match, Xander grew more confident, each victory propelling him closer to his dream of becoming the Infinity Champion. As the team garnered attention across the Federation Spaceway, Xander Shaw transformed from a mere fan into a celebrated competitor.
