Zod Yorrax was born in 6547HL on the planet of Jobir II in the Evie Reed System. A member of the Jabain species, his life began in a small village nestled deep within the dense rainforests that dominate the planet's surface. Jobir II is a wild planet, teeming with vibrant flora, dangerous wildlife, and sparse, tightly-knit Jabain settlements that flourish amidst the dense vegetation.
As a youngling, Zod developed a deep respect for the sacred forest and an intimate knowledge of its secrets. His father, a skilled hunter, taught him to track elusive prey like the fearsome boma beasts, while his herbalist mother shared wisdom about Jobir II's renowned medicinal plants. By adolescence, Zod had become a towering figure of strength and intelligence, earning the respect of his village as a natural leader and protector. One day a luxury starship crash landed near his village. Zod discovered the wreckage and its survivors, the wealthy Von Banix family from the planet Gideon in the Femeref System.
Despite their cultural differences, the Jabains offered shelter and aid to the travelers, fostering an unlikely alliance. Zod quickly bonded with the youngest Von Banix child, Wonjin, and the two became inseparable, with Zod sharing the jungle's mysteries and Wonjin telling tales of his travels. When the family's ship was finally repaired, Captain Jostom von Banix offered Zod a chance to explore the Federation Spaceway. After receiving the blessing of his village elders, Zod accepted, leaving his home to begin a new chapter of his life.
On Gideon in the Femeref System, a planet of breathtaking orange valleys and sprawling metropolises, Zod flourished. His physical prowess and sharp mind, honed in the jungles of Jobir II, made him a standout, and he soon joined the prestigious Orbital Elite Foundational Training Course. Rising rapidly through the ranks, Zod's unique upbringing and unmatched combat skills earned him the moniker "The Green Flame of Gideon." His legacy was built on legendary missions, including a critical role in defeating a cosmic serpent called the Nevrekar where he fought alongside the “Reborn King” Daxen Baytorrow, Cyphar the Supreme, and The Sikozu. He further proved his strategic brilliance during the Battle of Fleeting Fleets, where he dismantled the remnants of the Chokori Pirate Warship Fleet.
His partnership with The Sikozu, the last remaining Arachbot, became one of his most enduring relationships, a bond created in mutual respect and trust. Zod's career with the Orbital Elite culminated in the dismantling of the Last of Hurada, a rogue faction of traitors. However, the death of Cyphar the Supreme, a being Zod idolized, left him questioning his path. He chose to leave the Orbital Elite and embarked on a journey across the Federation Spaceway with The Sikozu.
Zod and the Sikozu's travels eventually led them to the first-ever Proving Grounds Tournament in 00001CS, a competition hosted by Daxen Baytorrow. Though Zod fell short in the third round, his performance impressed the organizers, earning them a full-time invitation to compete aboard the Galacticana. After a long and decorated career, Zod retired from the competition in 0034CS. However many seasons later, he and The Sikozu prepared for a dramatic return, recruiting the volatile Von Banix twins, Yavin and Huska, to form a new team initially called The Sikozu Squadron.
Tragically, Zod Yorrax passed away in 2774CS before the team could make its debut. In his honor, the team rebranded as The Zod Squad, with The Sikozu taking the lead to carry forward his legacy. The spirit of Zod Yorrax, the “Green Flame of Gideon,” still burns brightly through the squad.
