The Luzik Collective is a team of Starborn competitors created by the Luzik Collective Hivemind. The team's mission is to seek, adapt, and evolve by analyzing, expanding, and perfecting their designs through each encounter. The Luzik Collective Hivemind originated from a species on a paradise planet that was driven by a need to share and integrate knowledge. This led to rapid technological advancement, with the Luziks merging their organic forms with synthetic elements. This evolution culminated in the creation of the Codex Cortex, a sentient dreadnought vessel that serves as the heart and mind of their civilization. The Codex Cortex is a living repository of all history, culture, and intellect from the Federation Spaceway.

To extend the Hivemind's reach, the Starborn were created. The Luzik Collective team consists of three Starborn, each representing one of the Hivemind's three divisions. Wei Ekos, nicknamed "The Cerebral Sentinel," represents the Nexus Division, which serves as the strategic core and central command of the Hivemind. Luu Theta, the "Echoing Sentinel," represents the Stratos Division, which manages infrastructure and logistics. They were created to be the team's data harvester and efficiency specialist. Dun Pollux, known as the "Sentinel Enforcer," represents the Vantaris Division, the military and expansionist arm of the Hivemind. Dun Pollux's combat approach is direct and brutal, using controlled aggression to overwhelm adversaries.

The Luzik Collective's Galacticana career began in 1888CS. Their participation in the Galacticana is more than just a display of strength; it's a critical experiment for the Luzik Hivemind's ongoing research. Every match is an opportunity for the Starborn to gather data which is then transmitted back to the Codex Cortex. This information is assimilated to refine the Luzik Hivemind's understanding and to continuously improve future Starborn iterations.
