Doum Tharbek originally existed as Kage Tharbek, a Toden born in 1526CS on Vola in the Jomark System. Vola is an agricultural planet connected to a data network managed by an AI named Gaia, which the native Toden revere as the Eternal Harvester. Raised in a farming family, Kage developed a highly muscular physique from heavy labor, earning the nickname "The Crop Crusher" for his physical capability and harvesting skills.

Seeking a life outside of agriculture, Kage began training at Tussle & Muscle. This local gym was owned by Faydin Golbel, a Blenor from Blenock who formerly trained at the Battlecade Academy. The two married and liquidated their assets, including Kage's portion of his family farm, to buy a spacecraft and a ComBot named the Iconia07. They established a fighting team called The Noxclaw Accord, named after large lizards native to Vola. The team competed in venues like Nova City Fight Nights on Daka, Mattollo's Grit Pits on Mattollo, and Dekuba Wrestling on Azurea IV.

They eventually secured a spot aboard the Galacticana, competing for six seasons. While Faydin achieved success, Kage struggled to win significant matches. Their Galacticana careers ended after they lost a Ones Below All match, a high-stakes bout that permanently barred the losing team from the competition aboard the Galacticana. Following this defeat, the couple sold their ComBot and disappeared. Kage's body was eventually discovered inside a cryogenic storage locker that had been repossessed due to defaulted loans from the Telos Vault, while Faydin's whereabouts remained unknown.

The corporation Mecha Medical acquired Kage's remains and resurrected him by fusing his organic tissue with advanced cybernetics. Reactivated as Doum Tharbek and known as the "Husk of Havoc," the cyborg was purchased by the "Wandering Prince" Ravic Felsong. Stripped of his former identity, Doum Tharbek now fights for The Vehlsten Order, serving as a ruthless juggernaut alongside Ravic and his associate the "Glacierbane" Leon Roon as they enter the Galacticana.
