Kalo Redjaw was born in 2746CS on Valli, a planet of overgrown jungles, river valleys, and vast deserts within the Sunstride System. Like many Vallians, he was raised in the traditions of the Sunweaver Pilgrimage, a spiritual journey honoring Cyphar the Supreme, the celestial entity credited with restoring life to their world. Inspired by these legendary tales during the Age of Heliora and eager to walk that sacred path, Kalo set out on the pilgrimage alongside his lifelong friends, Merric Shaw and Nath Wexxford.

That bond became the cornerstone of their trek. Pushing each other forward through playful competition and mutual respect, the trio began with foundational training in combat, poetry, and meditation. Kalo threw himself into physical conditioning, honing his agility and speed, which, combined with his natural charisma, earned him the nickname "Firstlight" among a growing following on the popular social media platform WahLa. His posts, featuring sparring breakdowns, meditation tutorials, and candid travel livestreams, soon turned the trio into a sensation across the Federation Spaceway.

As they traveled to each of Valli's one hundred Sunweaver Temples, diverse environments tested their limits. At the jungle-bound Temple of the Quiet Current, resident monks trained them in fluid, adaptable footwork. At the Temple of the Ember Dawn in the desert wastes, the group underwent harsh survival regimens focused on stamina and endurance. Later, atop the peaks of the Temple of the Ascending Spirits, Kalo learned to time his strikes against high-altitude mountain winds, refining his attack speed and accuracy.

Throughout the Sunweaver Pilgrimage, Kalo’s journey was one of self-growth. He confronted personal struggles, questioned his beliefs, and reflected on his own purpose. Drawn by the trio's viral following, representatives from WahLa eventually approached them with an offer to join the Galacticana fighting circuit. Debuting in 2776CS under the banner of The Sunstriders, Kalo is ready to channel the strength, wisdom, and friendship forged through their Sunweaver Pilgrimage.
