The Sunstriders are a trio deeply rooted in the Sunweaver Pilgrimage, a spiritual journey on the planet Valli in the Sunstride System that honors the celestial being, Cyphar the Supreme. Their fighting style combines their individual strengths, which were honed during their pilgrimage.

The team members Kalo Redjaw, Merric Shaw, and Nath Wexxford began the Sunweaver Pilgrimage as younglings, sharing dreams of greatness and a deep respect for one another. The pilgrimage, a sacred journey through one hundred Sunweaver Temples on Valli, was designed to deepen their understanding of Sunweaver teachings. During the pilgrimage, the trio documented their journey on the social media platform WahLa, capturing the attention of fans across the Federation Spaceway. Their posts, which featured training, meditation, and personal reflections, transformed them into social media influencers.

Kalo Redjaw is known for his optimism, empathy, and natural charisma, which earned him the nickname "Firstlight." Merric Shaw, known as "Dayfire," is a powerful and ambitious fighter with a strong sense of duty. Nath Wexxford, nicknamed "Sunkeeper," is an agile combatant with deep faith and acrobatic prowess. By the end of their pilgrimage, they had transitioned from eager younglings to disciplined Sunweavers, embodying the legacy of Cyphar the Supreme. Their documented journey and growing influence led WahLa to offer them a chance to compete on the Galacticana.

The Sunstriders' career aboard the Galacticana begins this season. They enter the competition driven by their deep faith and the desire to share the wisdom of the Sunweaver Pilgrimage with the Federation Spaceway.
