As a youngling, Raiden demonstrated extraordinary intellectual abilities, solving puzzles meant for adults and memorizing historical texts. His true passion, however, lay in the culinary arts, where he was fascinated by how ingredients could come together to create amazing dishes. Concerned that this path lacked discipline, Raiden's father, Shinno Pike, enrolled him in the Vurmad Dojo Institute, where he trained in martial arts and meditation, strengthening both his mind and body. It was here that Raiden discovered the connection between cooking and martial arts.

Upon completing his training, Raiden embarked on a spiritual odyssey across the Federation Spaceway, seeking knowledge, enlightenment, and rare ingredients. His journey took him to the frozen planet of Lamadeg II in the Gutarius System, where he discovered the Moonberry, a unique fruit with a blend of sweetness and cold bitterness. Moved by its significance, Raiden purchased the planet to preserve and cultivate this rare fruit.

His travels continued to Kaldos III in the Pakkya System, where he trained at the Kosho Dojo and formed a deep bond with fellow student Jessi Flexx. They shared a passion for martial and philosophical mastery and became lifelong friends. Raiden then journeyed to the sun-scorched planet of Pagalla in the Yilsan System, where he discovered the Lumaloo fruit, known for its transformative taste. Believing these rare fruits had a higher purpose, Raiden acquired Pagalla to protect its natural treasures.

On Zaaris in the Clovis Dovis System, Raiden embraced the teachings of the Followers of Orasni, learning the importance of self-worth balanced by wisdom and restraint. He continued to visit other planets, discovering the Dreamfruit on Zuhorn in the Durgaia System and the Sunglow Melon on Yicorn. Each discovery deepened his belief that food was not just sustenance but a path to enlightenment. This realization inspired him to found Phitness Phresh, a revolutionary lifestyle movement that combined nutrient-rich foods with personalized fitness regimens and philosophical wisdom. His holistic approach to health, focusing on mind, body, and soul, transformed countless lives and garnered him a devoted following, earning him the moniker the "Phitness Philosopher".

Raiden's ambition led him to the grandest stage in the Federation Spaceway: the Galacticana. Confident in the strength of his Phitness Phresh philosophy, he assembled a team that embodied his teachings. He recruited his longtime friend and martial artist, Jessi Flexx, the "Flexxecutioner," and Zim "Young Zay-Zay" Zecker, a street fighter from Nova City on the planet Daka in the Yuri System. Together, they formed The Phitness Phreaks, a trio set to make their debut aboard the Galacticana.
