Zim Zecker was born in 2750CS in the Sirpar System on the planet Gahzgo. As a youngling, Zim Zecker's life was defined by the chaotic and unstable streets of Gahzgo His parents were lost in the collapse of the Royal Arc Tower, a catastrophe caused by one of the planet's frequent landslides. A survivor of the tragedy, Zim was left to fend for himself in the unforgiving city, facing constant hunger and a daily struggle for survival. A brief period of hope came in the form of a refugee program called Salva's Saviors, a sanctuary for struggling younglings, but it was short lived as the program’s founder was banished and the program shut down.

Desperation led Zim to join the Band of Cobalt, a gang that controlled Gahzgo's black markets. He started with menial tasks but his ambition quickly earned him more responsibility within the gang, managing protection rackets and smuggling contraband. A mission to steal a high security piece of technology from the Gahzgo Capitol Console went wrong when Zim injured a GCC officer during his escape. Now a marked fugitive with no protection from his gang, Zim fled the planet by stowing away on a freighter.

He eventually landed on the planet Daka in the Yuri System, finding himself in the neon drenched Nova City. There, he entered the brutal underground fighting circuit known as Nova Fight Nights. Zim’s scrappy and unpredictable fighting style earned him the nickname "Young Zay-Zay." It was during these fights that he met Raiden Pike, and the two formed a strong friendship.

Raiden Pike eventually left Nova City, but the friendship between him and Zim remained. Raiden later returned as the founder of Phitness Phresh, a lifestyle movement focused on health, fitness, and self discovery. He sought out Zim, asking him to join his team, The Phitness Phreaks, along with Jessi Flexx, to compete on the Galacticana. Their goal was to showcase the power of Raiden's philosophy through their performance in the competition. Zim Zecker is set to make his debut aboard the Galacticana this season.
