The story of the Barrel Club begins on Kurzil, a tropical paradise in the Wielend System. The native Ichor species, to which Rugo, Markaru, and Zyzar belong, had a deep spiritual connection to their planet. However, a mysterious illness spread across Kurzil, gradually turning its rich soil into a barren wasteland. As the planet's end drew near, the remaining Ichor began an exodus aboard KaVazi Ranger Rescue Ships.

Rugo, known as the "Titan of the Tropics," was one of the first to recognize that Kurzil's decline was irreversible and left the planet to travel across the Federation Spaceway. Later, upon hearing of Kurzil's imminent collapse, he returned to find his twin brother, Ogur. Ogur was gone, but Rugo discovered his youngling nephews, Markaru and Zyzar, huddled in the ruins of their family home. Orphaned by the tragedy, the boys left with Rugo on the final rescue ship.

Their journey led them to Azurea IV in the Cufrod System, a vibrant tropical planet reminiscent of their lost home. It was here that Markaru and Zyzar discovered Dekuba Wrestling. Inspired by their uncle's tutelage, Markaru became known as the "Dynamo Kid" for his boundless energy, while the playful Zyzar earned the moniker "Palm Leaf Prankster" with his unorthodox fighting style and witty banter. With Rugo by their side, the trio formed the Barrel Club. They became local celebrities on Azurea IV, captivating crowds with their high-energy matches.

The Barrel Club’s rise to prominence led to the Dosi corporation, seeking to harvest the exotic fruits of Azurea IV for a new soda line, offered them a sponsorship deal. Under the Dosi sponsorship, the team adopted the name "The Barrel Club" and their fame soared, making them ambassadors of their new planetary home.

Recognizing their immense potential, the Intergalactic Combatical Odyssey Federation invited The Barrel Club to compete on the Galacticana. They made their debut in 2774CS. As a team, they bring a potent mix of styles, with Rugo providing strength, Markaru bringing endless energy, and Zyzar contributing an unpredictable flair. Together, on the grandest stage in the Federation Spaceway, the Barrel Club continues to push the boundaries of what they can achieve.
