Driven by a sheer fixation on hand-to-hand combat, they spent their early cycles traveling across Aku's deserts and wildlands, fighting any challenger willing to step forward. Their strength became the stuff of legend; tales claimed they could wrestle oceans into submission and challenge the stamina of Aku's twin suns. This trail of battered fighters earned them the moniker "The Rage King."

After one of these legendary battles, Hellsa Bellsa was approached by Zephriko the Black, a priest obsessed with reviving an ancient force known as The Blight. Zephriko had spent his life tracking down lost artifacts tied to this dark power, chief among them the Scarlet Shroud of Authority. Recognizing Hellsa Bellsa's appetite for extreme violence, Zephriko offered the warrior the relic, claiming it granted the wearer the divine right to pass judgment on anyone in their path. Looking for a challenge that exceeded ordinary opponents, Hellsa Bellsa accepted the pact and placed the mask over their face.

The artifact altered Hellsa Bellsa's mindset so completely that they became obsessed with the second coming of The Blight, often to the point of madness. Convinced they were chosen to orchestrate its return, they aligned with Quaotik the "Emerald Cleric" and Psyro the "Novazure Reaper" to form The Blight's Children.

Since 2767CS, the Galacticana has become their proving ground, the stage upon which Hellsa Bellsa, Quaotik, and Psyro test their doctrine. Under Zephriko the Black's guidance, Hellsa Bellsa continues to push their limits as they pursue the ultimate challenge: mastering authority.
